The connection of chef and farmer is being reinvented as our eaters are finding their culinary roots. As chefs, we push our farmers to increase variety and quantity. In turn, local farmers are ‘replanting their roots’ as an essential part of communities. It’s our job as a chef farmer team to educate our eaters on our regional food heritage. It’s not just about eating local, it’s about the story of local eating, and the positive impact it has on our local economies & the formation of a health conscious America.
